Sei Mio Compliance & Safety Information
We prioritise customer safety and satisfaction with our bondage range. Each product is designed and tested to meet the highest standards of quality, comfort, and performance. Please follow these guidelines to ensure safe and enjoyable use:
Product Safety
- All products are made with body-safe, high-quality materials (e.g., silicone, metal, and latex-free options).
- Products are nickel-free and phthalate-free to minimise allergic reactions.
- Always read product packaging for specific usage guidelines and warnings.
Sei Mio Bondage Safety Instructions and Guidelines
- Ensure the safety of both you and your partner is a priority before beginning play.
- Establish clear communication during play and agree on a safe word or gesture to stop if necessary.
- Stop play immediately if a safe word or gesture is used.
- Familiarise yourself with the proper use of all bondage accessories and toys beforehand.
- Keep products out of reach of children as small parts may pose a choking hazard.
- Avoid using products on broken or irritated skin.
- Do not share products to prevent the risk of infections or illnesses.
- Read product packaging carefully to identify potential allergens (e.g., latex) and prevent allergic reactions.
- Discontinue use immediately if irritation, discomfort, or other adverse reactions occur.
- Always prioritise safe use of products to prevent injuries. Use them at your own risk.
- No liability will be assumed for injuries or accidents caused by improper handling or failure to follow safety guidelines.
Sensation Play-Specific:
The head, face, joints, and any other delicate or vulnerable areas should never be targeted during impact play.
- Areas such as the back, buttocks, thighs, or upper arms where there is more padding pose less risk of injury during impact play.
- To heighten sensation during impact play, stimulate the skin first with fingers or by using a soft material such as a feather tickler.
- No matter which type of tool you are using, begin with gentle impacts and gradually increase the force being used.
- For nipple clamps or clitoral clamps, the recommended wear time is 10-15 minutes. Remove clamps immediately if discomfort, irritation, bruising or discoloration occurs.
Restraint Play-Specific:
- Avoid fastening restraints so tightly that they restrict blood flow or cut off circulation.
- Avoid placing restraints directly on joints or sensitive areas that may cause injury.
- Ensure that restraints can be undone or released quickly if required.
- Never leave a restrained partner unattended. It is essential to maintain constant communication and monitor their physical and emotional well-being throughout the session.
- Regularly check for circulation, breathing, and signs of distress. If any concerns arise, immediately release the restraints and provide necessary care.
Deprivation Play-Specific:
- When using sensory deprivation accessories, such as a blindfold or gag, make sure they are secure on the wearer but not overly tight.
- It is important to regularly check on the wearer’s circulation and comfort level.
- It is recommended to start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the duration as both partners become more comfortable and experienced.
- Always be attentive to any signs of distress and be prepared to remove deprivation accessories if necessary.
Product-Specific:
Always refer to the product packaging for specific guidelines and instructions.
Product Type |
Usage Guidelines |
Ankle Cuffs |
When fastening the cuffs on your partner’s ankles, ensure they are not so tight that they restrict blood flow or cause discomfort. |
Ball Gag |
Position the ball in the wearer’s mouth and secure the straps in place around their head with the adjustable velcro fastenings. Decide on a ‘safe signal’ before play begins to enable the wearer to communicate if they would like to pause or stop play. |
Bedspreader |
With the straps unfurled but cuffs unattached, slide the restraints under your mattress, positioning the central ring roughly in the middle. Pull out all the straps from under the mattress and clip on the cuffs. Once your partner is cuffed, you can adjust the straps to give their limbs some wriggle room… or not. |
Blindfold |
Slip the blindfold into position over the wearer’s eyes and adjust if needed to prevent any peeking. |
Bondage Rope |
Use the ropes to tie your partner any which way you wish. Ensure knots are never tied so tightly that they restrict blood flow or cause discomfort. |
Bondage Tape |
Use the tape to bind your partner’s wrists, ankles or limbs any which way you wish. Ensure you don’t fasten the tape so tightly that it restricts blood flow. |
Clamps |
Position the clamps on aroused and erect nipples and clitoris, and use the adjustable screws to achieve a firm but comfortable squeeze. |
Collar |
Secure the collar around your partner’s neck via the velcro fastening, ensuring that they’re comfortable and blood flow is not restricted. |
Collar and Cuffs |
Fasten the collar around your partner’s neck, ensuring they’re comfortable and breathing is not restricted. Place their hands behind their back then use the adjustable strap to line up their wrists with the cuffs. Now cuff ‘em and play! |
Collar and Leash |
Secure the collar around your partner’s neck via the velcro fastening, ensuring that they’re comfortable and blood flow is not restricted. |
Crop |
Firmly grip the handle of your crop and begin with gentle taps on your partner’s butt cheeks or thighs. Increase the intensity and speed of each tap and stroke based on your partner’s comfort and consent, communicating with each other throughout play. |
Cross Cuffs |
Position your lover’s wrists together in front of them or behind their back, and secure the cuffs in place with the velcro fastenings. Connect the central D-ring to other bondage accessories to further your restraint play session. |
Door Jam Cuffs |
Place the non-slip door bars over the top of the door, with the straps hanging loose, and close the door securely. Attach the cuffs to your partner’s wrists and adjust the straps to the desired height and comfort if needed. The cuffs can support weight but are not designed to bear full body weight. |
Door Swing |
Your Door Swing is designed to take a maximum weight of 140kg. It is designed to fit in standard fixed house doors (not for use with furniture). Place the non-slip door bars over the top of your door and close the door securely. Your partner should grip the top handles as they settle into the padded seat, which can be raised or lowered if needed. Guide their legs through the stirrups and adjust for height and fit. |
Flogger |
Grip the handle of the flogger and tease your partner on their butt or thighs by gently trailing the fronds over their skin, before increasing the intensity levels from light tickles to confident thwacks and swings. |
Handcuffs |
When fastening the cuffs on your partner’s wrists, ensure they are not so tight that they restrict blood flow or cause discomfort. |
Hog Tie |
With your partner lying on their back or front, or kneeling, attach a cuff to each wrist and ankle via the velcro fastening. You’re now good to go. |
Paddle |
Firmly grip the handle of your paddle and begin with gentle taps on your partner’s butt cheeks or thighs. Increase the intensity and speed of each tap and slap based on your partner’s comfort and consent, communicating with each other throughout play. |
Pinwheel |
Gently roll the pinwheel over less sensitive areas such as the arms, back or legs to allow your partner to acclimatise to the sensation. Experiment with different directions, speeds, and pressures to discover what feels best for your partner. |
Position Restraint |
Lie your partner on their back and adjust the neck cushion for comfort. Secure their wrists in the cuffs and attach the cuffs to the D-rings on the collar. Now secure their ankles via the velcro restraints and adjust the straps to suit. |
Satin Wrist Restraints |
Tie wrists or ankles together using a simple knot, ensuring that blood flow is not restricted. |
Silicone Cuffs |
Slip the cuffs over your partner’s wrists, stretching them if needed to achieve a secure and comfortable fit. |
Spreader Bar |
With your partner laying on their back or front, or standing up, secure their ankles to the bar via the velcro straps at each end. Attach a cuff to each wrist then position their legs so that the wrist cuffs can be clipped to the bar’s D-rings. |
Strap On |
Slip the harness on and adjust the waist and thigh straps to achieve your desired fit. Secure your chosen dildo into place by attaching the compatible O-ring to the harness first. Add vibrations into the mix by slipping a small bullet vibrator into the pocket on the harness before play begins. |
Tickler |
Take hold of the feather tickler’s stem, and trail the soft tip of the tickler over your partner’s body, from head to toe. |
